”We should ensure that the Taliban knows that we will not tolerate their efforts to impede the movement of individuals to get to the airport and get out of the country. And we should demonstrate that if need be.”

Looks like this administration will tolerate just about anything. Talk is cheap. We should demonstrate it FIRST, THEN say, “And there’s more where that came from.”

Really not a "Dunkirk Moment". The British left there with the firm resolve to return.

Winston Churchill

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”

The British Fall of Singapore to Japan
Febuary 1942
Only with tens of thousands of civilians captured this time.
Biden surrendered just like gen. Percival.

A very apt comparison. Although the Japanese may have been better equipped than the British in that they had tanks and modern planes, the British vastly outnumbered them. The Japanese were also running low on supplies when Percival chose to surrender.

However, as at Kabul, tens of thousands of civilians did fall into the hands of the Japanese, who murdered 25,000 of them.

The french held the line so that more british troops could escape. A good number of french troops got out too. The nazis did not let them leave. Goering said he could stop the evacuation and the panzer were halted. They were also preparing for phase 2 and moving south.
It showed the resolve of the Brits and there were lots of civilian wuth boats who joined in including Lightower of Titanic fame.

Winston Churchill - 1940

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

Slojoe Biden - 2021

“It wasn’t me, it was him, those aren’t my pants, and the midget was on fire when I got here”

What an absolute humiliation. Nice going, libtards.

I never thought I'd live long enough to see my country become the laughing stock of the world. It's well on its way to becoming a third-world communist shit hole.

I love Winston Churchill. Visited his wartime bunker when I was in London in 2006, as well as his ancestral home, where he was born...Blenheim Palace. Visited the D-Day Landing Beaches in 2006 too. Second trip over the following year, went to Bletchley Park. Since then, they've made a conscientious effort to conserve the site, and make it a true museum. It's sad that most young people today, many in Britain, do not even know who this great man was.
