The woman arrested Saturday for nearly shoving a 22-year-old man onto the subway tracks at Times Square has been booked seven times since June 25, police sources said — including for several assaults on mass transit.
Briana Randolph allegedly came up from behind her victim at around 8 a.m. Saturday on the northbound NQR train platform at 42nd Street and Broadway and pushed him for no reason, according to police.
The attack could be seen on surveillance video and Randolph was arrested at 34th Street-Herald Square station about eight hours later, police said. *** Randolph has been arrested twenty times since 2012, including seven times so far in 2021 — once for grand larceny on July 25 and six more for assaults, according to police sources.***

This is a more common “thing” in NY City, but I’ve even seen occur even in places like Hong Kong. There are psychos everywhere, but NY City grows them and encourages them.
situational awareness. keep your back against a wall, watch those around you, stay near an object you can hide behind or grab on to, stay near an exit, etc. etc.

I saw some data over the weekend that 70% of the people shooting and 70% of the people getting shot in urban areas are felony convicts. So it’s a lack of incarceration.

No way on earth would OSHA allow an exposed fall hazard and large and moving equipment without safety restraints and a safety cage at a minimum.
