Depends on the locality and the infrastructure to handle a ship New York City was perfect for a ship, plus they had inflatable hospitals. Mass casualties or the threat of mass casualties requires an extraordinary amount of equipment.
BS...The ship was meant for people that did NOT have Covid and did not have facilities for Covid patients. The ship became contaminated and was useless.
I wonder how much need is due to budget shortfalls and vaxx mandates for staff, and how much is for patients in FOR CoupFlu.

I seem to recall that the one they opened in New York City in early 2020 did not last long — it was lightly used and unappreciated by the leftist establishment. Kinda like the inactive auto plants that Trump pressured into making breathing tubes.
