Nursing home my wife works at are highly recommending vaxxes for the staff but not quite forcing yet. She’ll be quitting if they go mandatory because of this. I’m going to suggest her an others that don’t want it band together by all handing in their two week notices the same day.
There is one legal strategy that might be worth a look.
It appears that folks who can prove they have the antibodies have been able to intimidate employers into giving them exemptions.
However, a good lawyer is required to make this happen.
It might be worth an exploratory phone call or two...
We're trying to move my mother in law to another skilled nursing home for a wound caused by the hospital that won't heal. She's suffering from severe demensia and can't have surgery. Just got off the phone with one local facility and was told they are not accepting any new people as they are expecting to lose care nurses due to the vaxx mandate.
