True that. I hate to have to say it, but it was Trump who appointed Gen. Milley as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. And this highlights what is perhaps Trump’s biggest weakness. He trusted folks who shouldn’t have been trusted.

But Trump is not stupid. He’ll learn from this, and hopefully be more careful next time (MAGA, 2024).

Trump had to take advice from people in the government...he new nothing about how it worked...if he hired someone and they did not work out he got rid of them...

but some people have to be approved by congress...so theres a problem

After a couple of years he finally got the right people..without any help from the GOP

Agreed. He has a rough time sometimes judging friend and foe. Although he did go through a bunch of Generals trying to find one worth a damn. Sadly it seems he found few.
