The Afghanistan debacle is much deeper and longer than out current senile POTUS. The DeeCee Deep State Swamp War Party (neo-cons and faux libs) IMHO love this chaos (wow! We get to go to WAR again!). I don’t trust a syllable that comes from media or deep state. LIES are their first and only option... and if their lies don’t work...they just LIE harder!!! Now with the reported atrocities of Taliban... I do wonder is it all true... or are the Swamp chicken warhawks and their media toadies trying to restart the war to save their profits? ALL trust is lost!!!

The kleptocracy of the Deep State is on display.

Afghanistan after Tora Bora became a cash cow for the families and friends of politicians, generals and intelligence folks.

Billions in contracts, purchases and training were awarded.

One reason the Afghan Army collapsed is because it has ZERO air support.

Why?

The US gave the Afghans tons of helicopters and planes. The Afghans knew how to maintain the Russian equipment that they had, but the US Congress decreed that we should not train the Afghans in maintenance and repair, but the Afghans should pay for US contractors to do the maintenance and repair.

So, once we announced we were pulling out, the US contractors got out, leaving the Afghans with air equipment that they could not repair or maintain.

In essence, we grounded the Afghan Air Force, leaving the Afghan Army with no air cover because we were busy enriching politicians, donors and friends.
