I was listening to Fox News Radio this morning. They were interviewing an American still in Afghanistan. She says she and other Americans are being held hostage. She tried getting to the airport, but there were 20 Taliban checkpoints which prevented her from proceeding. She’s fearful for her life and is hiding in her home.

Yes, she’s an American.

Bidet has declared her an unperson.

If she was truly patriotic she would be drafting her suicide note explaining why she chopped her own head off...

:-(

Re: 12 - I expect at some point, with the press releases about increasing numbers of people airlifted out of Afghanistan, “victory” will be declared by the Biden Administration.

The wildcard in this are Americans potential/actually held by the Taliban and brought out after such a victory declaration. They could be declared as “spies”, etc.

I can’t see the Taliban allowing the US to declare victory in leaving and giving up any potential media leverage that Americans detained as “spies” could bring.

I’m afraid this is going to turn into a POW type situation.

At least she’s not stranded. Per Psaki.
