He gets it alright and his concern for the USA is on full display.

Be nice if after some of his answers the WH press corp would retort back:
What F’n planet are you on?
Are you that damn stupid to believe what your saying?

... and so on.
It’s just a modified version of “C’mon, man!” It means nothing other than a clear indicator of a weak mind.
