Not the first time people have thought I’m male here on FR. In the real world there’s no question even a little I’m female.
When I make comment of how I see some women in politics and the like...and generally it’s insecure woman who dislike what I’m saying about women. However it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to size up the wrong woman in places of power who should not be governing.
I’m always mistaken on FR. Guess I fit the “male” mold.
I’m not simply “insecure” (that often applies to the males). I’m not in denial about females either.
I’ll say willingly that ladies aren’t as good - and not interested - in math and science as I am. I didn’t see that many as an engineer in school or work - though many more than you might think. Conversely men aren’t as good at verbal pursuits. Etc.
But I also don’t like when women are berated for the very things they’re supposed to be “natural” at - as if it’s bad and inferior and even laughable.
As for women leaders, in terms of strict “leadership”, yes, women aren’t going to fill the ranks. However, the *few* there have been in top positions, are usually ranked amongst the best ever. Meanwhile, thousands of men have filled those ranks and been total disasters or just forgettable.
