President Trump said something similar to what you just said, paraphrasing, “This covid is just another flu and will disappear in summer when warm weather arrives”. That was in early 2020. And sadly he lost the election. Biden locked himself in basement and scared Americans figured Biden was taking covid more seriously. Rest is history.

Covid would have disappeared if the left had let it and not used errant PCR tests and gotten so many false positives and kept the fear narrative going, which you are supporting.
