The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled against a federal freeze on evictions, dealing a blow to the Biden administration’s effort to shield cash-strapped tenants from the coronavirus pandemic.
In a 6-3 ruling that broke along familiar ideological lines, the court lifted the stay on a federal judge’s order which found the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) eviction moratorium unlawful.

I also want the SCOTUS to demand recompense for an illegal ‘taking’ for doing the moratorium in the first place.

so much for the vaunted integrity of the CDC. apparently the CDC has no respect for the law, nor any sense of morality whatsoever. why should anyone trust the CDC on anything (other than being patsies for big pharma, democrats, and being gun grabbers) is beyond my comprehension.
scientific observation: nuke them from orbit, and all of the CDC problems would go away.

Actually, the STATES can ignore the Feds now - the states can allow evictions and the Feds can’t do anything

After this decision and the recent stay in Mexico ruling, the Democrats will attempt to pack the Supreme Court.
