U.S. effort to resettle Afghan refugees faces major hurdles

The Biden administration's plan to resettle tens of thousands of Afghan refugees is facing formidable operational and legal challenges, with issues ranging from the uncertain immigration status of many evacuees, to limited social resources and permanent housing for the new arrivals.

Thousands of at-risk Afghans are arriving in the U.S. without approved visas, placing them in legal limbo and rendering them ineligible for some federal social programs available to those admitted as refugees, including cash assistance and Medicaid...

...Some Afghans who assisted the U.S. war effort as translators and other roles are arriving with special immigrant visas (SIV), which allow them to become green card holders, or permanent residents, upon reaching the U.S. But many of the evacuees have pending SIV applications or lack immigration petitions, prompting U.S. officials to authorize their entry through a humanitarian tool known as parole....

Resettlement agencies are expected to receive $2,275 for each Afghan parolee that they serve. However, parolees will only have access to the makeshift program for up to 90 days, so refugee advocates are now urging lawmakers to enact a legislative fix.

Congressmen Seth Moulton and Don Bacon, a bipartisan pair of former military officers, are planning to introduce a bill known as the WELCOME Act on Friday..

excuse me folks, but down here at the border, 200K people are crossing in one month and the 'agencies' don't seem to have a problem getting the southern crew settled wherever they desire to fly in the usa.

Then we have the 'oh what will we do with 20K refugees it's too many' people - that really make me angry

A little fact shecking reveals that almost ALL are not SIVs. The people we were supposedly there to extract were either too afraid to try and pass enemy checkpoints or couldn’t get there at all. So to make Joe Stolen look good we just crammed the planes full of whoever the enemy would let through their lines.

Not only are they not conversant in English, they have no skills. Goat and sheep unfortunately is not part of the STEM curricula.

So, we’ll just end up feeding them - forever.

"Our betters are taking to tyranny like a duck to water."

It will be worse than that. This is an alien culture that will not assimilate. They will do the raping and terrorizing that Americans won't. We need for large numbers of these Biden shock troops to be sent to liberal enclaves like Martha's Vineyard, but that is not how they are being targeted for settlement or just released without any screening or control at all.

Or Iceland or a tropical island.

Simple Rules of Engagement with Muslims -

If Infidels are present, Sunni with unite with Shi’a sects to enslave (physical, sex, monetary), convert, and annihilate all Infidels.

If no Infidels present, Sunni will turn against Shi’a until one or the other is enslaved or annihilated.

The rising population of Muslims over 1200 years shows the effectiveness of their tactics.

Just because they are now in America won’t change their tactics. It just makes it easier for them.

Yeah, like they are totally incompatible with the US Constitution.

Unless they publicly renounce their religion and agree to no chain migration except immediate family and seek US citizenship, they should have at most 6 months to find another country to move to. Otherwise we send them back to Pakistan with a parachute.

No mosques, no burqas, no female genital mutilation, no taqiyya. It’s our way or the highway.

Well we can't have that, let's start with a $20,000 housing stipend and extended unemployment and welfare benefits. Free Medicaid healthcare and public k-12 indoctrination.
