Two-term New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio may run for governor in 2022, as he is “absolutely” considering ways to further the lifespan of his political career.
On an appearance on far-left Morning Joe on MSNBC, de Blasio touted reports that he will run for governor of New York.
When the host directly asked him if the reports are true, he shifted the question to say he was working with Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), “bringing this city back” after the Chinese coronavirus and Hurricane Ida hit it:

As the NYC sewer dominates that state, he will probably win.
I recall his NYC elections numbers being very, very low — won by default IIRC.

I've lived in New York State all my life. The State is already f*cked.
I'm glad I've already made the decision not to ever vote again. When it comes to President, Governor, and U.S. Senators, my vote doesn't count, so why bother voting at all, especially with the unlimited voter fraud sanctioned by Congressional Republicans.
Hope he wins. People need to feel real pain before they rise up.

Well, the Lt. Gov will have a headstart.
And, ambitious NY AG Letitia James might have something on DeBlasio, who seems like a loose and careless character. She’d jump over his body on the way to higher office in a flash. Look at how hard she’s worked to pursue Trump, even though he’s out of office.

If a Marxist idiot like DeBlasio is electable after all the death and destruction he is guilty of, then “Reverse Secession” might be the result, New York State would be ejected from the Union.
Maybe he can run for “animal control officer” of a small upper New York State town.
