LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The $1.8 billion bill was passed by the Texas Senate yesterday. The bill will allow Governor Abbott to build more than 700 miles of border wall. The bill, H.B. 9, was passed by a 23-8 vote after numerous changes were made from the House version.
It is now headed to the governor’s desk for signing.
A majority of the $1.8 billion will go towards border wall and fencing and the Texas National Guard will carry out the project. Several Democrats from border districts voted for the bill.
That’s a start. Next build a wall around the entire, secede from the union, arm up, and then give a middle finger to DC.

If they would simply impound federal remittances they would have way more than enough money for the job.
If they would sub the work out to the contractor that builds walls for places like Hungary they would have plenty with the $1.8 billion.
Remittances to Mexico sent by workers in Texas could easily be surcharged for tens of millions of dollars.

You have a number of other valuable planks in your campaign and I sincerely hope that people are paying attention and not just giving current Gov. Abbot credit for your courageous, ingenious and valuable ideas.

All I could find for that was: Relating to the criminal punishment and conditions of community supervision for the offense of obstructing a highway or other passageway; increasing a criminal penalty.
The handling and delivery charges might be a stumbling block, along with the "no return" policy.

The courts, once they pack them, or attrition, or corruption, or extortion.
But once the courts try to take over Texas, things might become a bit ‘feisty’.
