Texas murder suspect’s bond revoked after allegedly stabbing witness

A Texas woman accused of murder has had her bond revoked after she allegedly stabbed a potential witness in the case.

Felisha Washington, 27, was ordered back to jail Friday after she allegedly stabbed a woman who could have been called to the witness stand in her trial for the murder of Ramona “Dede” Jones, 51, news station FOX 26 reported.

“This individual who was on bond for murder was outside of her residence, outside of her curfew hours, and had some pretty significant contact with a witness on that murder,” Sean Teare, assistant district attorney for Harris County, told the outlet.

Teare said the prosecution was able to prove in court Friday that she “violated a number of her bond conditions” — and she will now remain in jail until her trial for Jones’ murder, FOX 26 reported.

“When people commit offenses or violate conditions of those bonds, they should no longer have the opportunity to be out until their cases are over, for the safety of the community, for the safety of everyone involved,” Teare said.

Washington had initially walked out of jail on a $50,000 bond in December after she allegedly stabbed to death Jones, a mother of three whose body was found in a ditch, the outlet reported.

Jones’ family said they believe the latest incident shows that she’s responsible for the killing.

Only a $50,000 bond for a murder? I could see that happening in California. But in Texas?

Most all the big cities in Texas are becoming rat holes controlled by DemocRATS so no surprise here.

Yes, I agree.

Murder with a witness and allowed out on a small bail...

That’s nuts

Stabbing is ‘pretty significant contact’? Interesting choice of words.

Actually that’s pretty high for Harris county TX. The DA, Kim Ogg, and democrat judges are letting killers out on PR bonds and haven’t held court in months. According to Houston mayor Sylvester Turner, they are rebuilding the justice legal system. White flight from Houston is rampant.

They actually got some Huckabee-type Republicans here in Texas to agree with their complaints that the bail system was unfair to blacks...and now the Blue Counties have this crap happening on a regular basis.

Years ago my Spanish teachers brother was sitting talking to an old friend in her kitchen at the kitchen table.
Her police officer husband came home and shot the brother dead.
Officer got out of jail without bail til the trial.
Let’s see you or I get that kind of treatment.
Los Angeles.

Houston is a crime-ridden cesspool. Antifa runs free in Austin. San Antonio is a woke Communist statelet. Dallas is the Karen capital of the country.

Texas ain't what it used to be.

No place is. Jax is rapidly changing. Older areas of the city are rapidly Hispanizing and newer suburban developments attract blue state and H-1B migrants. Duval county voted for Biden. The last Dem to win it was Carter in 1980.

This is of course why living witnesses say “din-see-nuffin.”

Flowers may be placed on the graves of witnesses who boldly said “I’m going to court tomorrow and telling the truth about what I saw.”

Harris County Kim Ogg was bought and paid for by George Soros. Last fall, her going price was over $600,000.00. There is also ample reason to suspect that massive Voter Fraud and Ballot Manipulation/Tampering took place in Harris and Fort Bend counties.
