Houston has been a hellhole for as long as I can remember. If nothing else, the humidity and stink of oil/fish all over are bad. I guess if you lived there you’d get used to the smell though.

I grew up in Harris county. Left in 1980. Made the mistake of moving back in 1989. Left in 1990 and never looked back.
