Pete Lopez, 73, died of COVID-19 on Monday, after weeks of his family pushing for hospital physicians to administer ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug.

Lorigo said the hospital still refused to give Lopez ivermectin despite the judge's ruling, a decision the attorney said wasn't theirs to make because the court order made it a legal obligation.
On Monday, the hospital received a stay from an appellate court judge and the parties were set to argue the case on Tuesday, but Lopez died before the hearing.

So the “Time” headline implies that Ivermectin killed him, but in reality he never got it and died of Covid or something else.
Well this is a sad tale of stupidity :-(

I planned months ago for my own supplies and have everything I need.

Have no professional opinion on Ivermectin. (have some prescribed by doctor - as it is as safe as aspiran). But doctors who have had success with the treatment seem to always indicate it must be given early.
If the person had been sick for weeks, seems they should have been trying to treat inflammation and thrombosis.
Ivermectin apparently should be taken as a prophylactic, or early in the infection. It does not seem very effective (mostly) when someone is already gravely ill.
A freeper here asked the hospital Dr about ivermectin for his son. Basically, he has to see bona fide studies that it works before he will prescribe it.
So hopefully Cody weathers the virus and there will be no need to look back at the decisions the Drs made. It can cause incredible sadness and anger and frustration.

It seems that President Trump was the only politician in this country who didn’t kiss up to the Big Pharma criminal cabal.
Maybe if he got it from the beginning instead of waiting for weeks of getting sicker.
