FORDHAM HEIGHTS, the Bronx — A father riding the subway with his 4-year-old daughter in the Bronx was threatened and spit on after asking a man not to smoke on the train earlier in September, according to the NYPD.

Police said it happened around 3:20 p.m. back on Sept. 5 as the dad and daughter were aboard a southbound D train.

An unidentified man sitting in the same car was smoking alleged marijuana while riding the train, authorities said.

The father, 35, asked the man not to smoke aboard the train, a which point the other man started yelling at the dad and little girl, according to police.

The man allegedly spit on them and even pulled out a knife and threatened them, officials said.

Video released by the NYPD shows the suspect appearing to yell at and harass the dad and his young daughter.

The victims got off the train at the Fordham Road station while the suspect stayed on the subway, according to police.

drug test __ there was this one time when I rode the subway with my daughter

Plenty of studies show passive exposure can show up. But exposure is ever more rarely limited to "one time".

People are stupid. They think everyone is just like them.

Is it worth getting beaten in front of your daughter, and something possibly happening to her too?

That’s what weed Karens do - shift blame to others that have nothing to do with the problem. The more hysterical you become about a single issue the more ignorant you appear of your own surroundings and how they became the way they are. NYC is a complete write off and has been destroyed by libtards. Same as SF Seattle LA Chicago etc. all of them run into the ground by libtards.

You’re barking up the wrong tree and simply too stupid to know it 🤪

all of them run into the ground by libtards.

Including with non or reduced enforcement of marijuana until their libtard and libertine-fairyan allies at state level decriminalized it.

This is not limited to NYC. More false memories plaguing you.

It shows how fed up non-users are beginning to get with THC exposure.

Ah, another freerepublic libertarian displaying his disdain for dissenting opinions. After all, it's only his liberty that's important.

Meanwhile, sane people prefer the liberty of not having to encounter some stoned out fool on the highway, some mongrelized ghetto creep on the subway taking dope, ad infinitum.

Morons.

Sane people need to flee the Blue Hives they way they would flee a plague infected sewer.

When the press first announced NY State was nearing weed legalization, I considered a move to North or South Dakota. I called U-Haul for a quote and the rep told me "What's with all these New Yorkers wanting to move to North and South Dakota today?" Sadly South Dakota went down into weed legalization. I think it was by proposition, since proposition helps bypass the bicameral (senate) protections against tyranny by the degenerate higher populated areas.

I am a libertarian, but my freedom and the freedom of others only extends to the point at which it does not infringe on the reasonable expectations of my neighbors. Playing the radio at deafening levels, or blowing smoke in someone’s face. Smoking on a transit bus or subway is always an infringement on the rights of other passengers.

And sadly, mere use restrictions are insufficient to deter potheads from force-dosing others THC, such as on a bus or train or other public place, or even into others' very homes from neighboring houses or apartment units.

Only criminalization of possession, vigorously enforced has impact.

Sounds like a local problem. Who is in charge of that place?

It’s an urban ghetto culture thing, not just a weed thing.

SD going for legalization is a matter of libertarian politics, not people on subways in blue hives hassling normal people.

Just an urban ghetto culture thing? If it were only that simple. And yet even if it were that simple, citing such a claim bears the implication that those many, many people lacking the wherewithal to escape may claim no right against forced psychotropic drugging... for themselves or even their children.

Carrying an open flame on a subway (where passengers are packed like sardines) is dangerous. I spent at least 10 years of my misspent life, starting at 14, taking NYC transit almost every day. In 1964 one felt as safe in the subway as in your living room. There had not been a murder on the subway in something like 25 years. That’s something like 100 million passenger years. In what must have been well over 60,000 trips I never once saw anyone smoking on the subway, bus or platform. It was unimaginable.

If there is to be any rejection of this absurdity, of the libertine-fairyan poison, it must come from a revival of conservatism. If it doesn’t come from that, the nation will only grow more degenerate, weak and dumbed down until its final demise.

I outright challenge that as FAKE! Unless you've been riding the L-S-D train.

Baloney. The tenets of libertarianism are to promote the libertarian agenda under the guise of "liberty."

"Liberty" of people moving across borders without papers.

"Liberty" of prostitutes to practice their trade unimpeded.

"Liberty" of faggots to do their thing.

"Liberty" of a woman to murder her unborn.

"Liberty" of people getting vending machine narcotics of their choice. (Yeah, cause you people can do that without hurting others. Idiots.)

"Liberty" of humans having sex with ........ whomever. (Pedophilia and bestiality, for example.)

Your political label is as ridiculous as your explanation. Get off Freerepublic. You don't belong with conservatives.

Who in their right mind would approach a weed-smoking young black male about anything?
