I don’t think they’re lazy. The incumbents thrown the state GOP bones to keep them happy. Maybe tip them off with some inside info so their stock portfolios can grow a bit.

Once they’re in office they decide AMONGST THEMSELVES who will be speaker. We could light a fire under their asses and tell them no when it comes to speaker McCarthy.
That said the GOP in Bakersfield should be the ones to take him out. Water issues. No fight. Pull an Eric Cantor.
