President Joe Biden’s decision to cut deliveries of monoclonal antibodies to southeastern states, in what critics have called a politically-motivated effort to punish Republican states, could end up sentencing black people to death from coronavirus.
On Tuesday, Politico reported that the Biden administration was going to ration the distribution of monoclonal antibodies from Regeneron, given that “demand from a handful of southern states … accounted for 70 percent of all orders in early September.”
Texas, Georgia, and Florida are the three U.S. states with the largest number of black residents. Black residents are also a large proportion of residents in each of the affected states, according to data from the 2020 U.S. Census: Alabama (1.3 million – 25.8%); Florida (3.2 million – 15.1%); Georgia (3.3 million – 31.0%); Louisiana (1.5 million – 31.4%); Mississippi (1.1 million – 36.6%); Tennessee (1.1 million- 15.8%); Texas (3.6 million – 12.2%). The nationwide proportion of black residents is 12.4%.

I suspect that their plan backfired.
I’m guessing that they figured since Trump was behind Operation Warp Speed, that conservatives would be lining up around the block to take the vax, while liberals like Harris, said they would not take it because they didn’t like/trust Trump.
But they reckoned without the real insurrection inWashington, when the democrats stole the election and barricaded themselves in DC, and then liberals, who are among the most fearful and fear driven creatures going, were so terrified of the virus that THEY were the ones lining up for the vax instead.
And the wrong group of people got inoculated. Now they are going to have to find other ways of taking out the right. And denying them life saving meds is it.
But I also think they underestimated the right’s independence and lack of group think. People tend to project a lot and the left probably figured the right would react out of fear as they do.
They miscalculated.
In the meantime, the right is stocking up on meds, food, and ammo because we see what’s coming.

I have posted this several times as a comment ever since I heard that Biden was cutting back on the supply of Regeneron to the “red states” because of their lower vaccination rates.
All of the Southern red states have very large black populations and some of the cities are black majority cities. Blacks as a group are the most reluctant to be vaccinated and have the lowest rates, so probably the lower rates in some of these states is due to the lower black vaccination rate.
Therefore, by withholding the Regeneron, Biden is essentially punishing and discriminating against the black population.
Aside from that, I honestly am stunned that he or whoever in his administration could just come out and say that they were punitively withholding a treatment from states that he didn’t like politically.
And the media and everybody else thought this was just fine and are cheering him on.

Democrats want to replace their ‘high maintenance’ black base with a more grateful brown base from South of the border - fewer abortions - more children.... more future deomcrats and browns from south of the border ‘know their place’.. they ‘respect authority’... Which is why they had more plane crashes.
