Exactly. I remember one time one of our customers who swore that their green screen auto populated or filled in when she typed. My programmer Ann and I looked at each other scratching our heads and Ann suggested going to the lady’s desk and seeing for ourselves.
Get down to her desk and the lady starts typing in a customer address and she tells Ann, see, the screen is filling in on its own. Ann takes her hand and while the lady’s fingers were on the keyboard, pressed down so she could no longer type and pointed out to her the screen was being filled by her typing.
OMG, I almost burst out laughing but that’s the way she saw the world. Black and white but she was one of the most creative and talented programmers I had the pleasure of working with.
