Total U.S. DEATHS ( ALL CAUSES ) :
2014: 2,626,418
2015: 2,712,630
2016 : 2,744,248
2017 : 2,813,503
2018 : 2,839,206
2019: 2,855,000
2020: 2,913,144
Where did you get those stats, because it is near impossible to find recent stats. Every search result is about Covid deaths, and the CDC only lists up to 2019.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm
So approximately 60,000 more deaths than should have been predicted by the pattern formed by previous years increases in total deaths.
Covid did kill a lot of people in Hospice or waiting a turn at Hospice though.
It sort of tracks the number of people born from 1950 to 1957.
A remarkable statistic, made even more remarkable by the steady increase at small and predictable increments.Numbers never lessened from one year to the next. always increased.(death being ,as we know ,”Like taxes”)
Thanks.
