Secret courts are not needed in a free society. They are contrary to all rights and protections guaranteed by the Constitution. It is time to end the Patriot Act, denial of due process, and restore the right to be secure in one’s home. Time also to end the frequent use of middle of the night swat team raids to intimidate and embarrass people for political reasons.
The law has no power against gpovernment thugs. FISA was supposed to control and curtail the snoop - it had the reverse effect. Constitution? Lip service, sure.
The words on paper have no power.
