Well, I suppose the Biden Administration and their National Council on the Arts simply decided the Lee Greenwood was too old, too American and way too white to remain on the National Council on the Arts.
Maybe he will be replaced by a Hatian Reggae singer with,

Writing a song about loving the USA and asking “God” to bless America is just too divisive and violates the 1st Amendment separation of church and state.
