First they banned the use of flying drones to film the site. (Here’s a media protip for future incidents: FAA NOTAMs do not cover Mexican airspace, so fly your drones and film from there.) Then they squeezed out all but approved press likely to communicate the Administration narrative. Then they announced and implemented a phony policy solution to the whole thing: the Haitians will be flown to Haiti.
Some of the Haitians are, in fact, being flown to Haiti. We saw the Coast Guard C-130 that’s ferrying migrants from the Del Rio to Port-au-Prince, on the tarmac and readying to taxi. But only some: an unknown number of intact families among them are, we were told, being transported inland, released, and given notices to appear before an immigration judge sometime in the future. When will they have their day in court? Apparently the timeframe is within 12 to 36 months. Will they appear for that hearing? Will anything happen to them if they don’t appear?
We know the answers.
From D.C.’s perspective, then, the crisis is nearly over. The optics are under control: there are migrants visibly expelled from the country, there is a visible law-enforcement surge (albeit mostly Texan, not federal), and the media is effectively prohibited from direct access to the site. You’d think the last bit would be something media would protest, but no: excepting a few citizen journalists and right-of-center outlets who mean nothing to the federal apparatus, media acquiesces to the restrictions. They are the willing handmaidens of the elite narrative, not its skeptics—and certainly not its opponents.

Yep, we are no longer talking about Americans and SIVs trapped and held hostage in Afghanistan. We are no longer talking about Biden & Harris surrender to the Taliban. We are no longer talking about the $85 billion of US equipment and supplies left to the Taliban.
The American citizens most likely agree with this influx of aliens and covid into the US else they would be up in arms (literally) over this mess! I guess they all don’t care about what kind of country their kids and g-kids are going to grow up in!

What’s the mystery? The Biden administration orchestrated the border crisis. The Haitian situation is a special case. It can’t be a coincidence that 15,000 Haitians from several countries showed up at the same border crossing at the same time. That had to be coordinated by someone.

That was then, this is now, not an appropriate analogy. When the settlers came there was no USA, now there is.
Indeed it was well orchestrated..... If you’re going to change ‘the face’ of the nation the way Obama/Biden wants then the only way is to pay countries to hold them back in their camps until you’re ready to bring them up in mass.
It takes little money to hire “organizers’ and the internet and social media will get the word out where, when, and how.
Good point; so Biden gets to ignore those left in Afghanistan and take credit for the emptying of the Del Rio camp, primarily due to the actions of the Texas State police to stop the inflow.
