Reasonable people may differ on foreign aid, but the Israeli Iron Dome system is a marvel. It saves lives on both sides and prevents the battles from spiraling into regional conflict. If those Hamas rockets actually landed inside civilian populations Israel would have no choice but to return with large fire and ground troops with great loss of life on both sides.
Instead they are able to swat them out of the sky like gnats. Swords into plowshares. It’s really awe inspiring to me. The idiots in Congress who voted to stop financing the Iron Dome are mostly hateful humans. While it mostly benefits Israel AND the Palestinians lives, the technology is also important for US defense forces to learn from and imo it is worth investing in.
If it weren’t for Israel, the entire Middle East can fall into a sinkhole for all I care.

Easier to just bomb them sealed with the Hamas fighters in them - there are many collapsed tunnels from years ago that hold the bones of previous fighters ; Hamas does not attempt to save its fighters, as that would reveal the extent of its losses to the world.
Ike has 3 ribbons covering WWI, WWII ; Modern Milley has a ribbon for everything issued since he entered serviced and, having run out of room on the right, has begun more rows on the left. Must add even more bulk to an already far overweight soldier ; a poor example, but a boon the the pizza delivery guy.
