The kind of non-military trained greedy a@@hole who tried to PLAN the Iraq I invasion and force the US Military to actuate it.
And— he WAS implicit along with another incompetent “failing up” quota hire of Jamaican/American Colin Powell (a GHWBush benefactor lib hire)— who ORDERED Schwarzkopf to stop the push on into Baghdad because US forces had wiped out an escaping column of Iraqis in armored/military vehicles stretching a mile— and dubbed by the “horrified” GHWBush’s pal media as “The Highway of Death”. As a result we did not capture Saddam Hussein THEN, and stretched out the military presence in Iraq until another “operation” was needed because Daddy Bush had a death threat from Saddam. No kidding— the MIL-Industrial Cheney pals stretched out an operation that could have been settled ... right then. But there is no profit in a short “conflict” that is resolved.
Instead, Cheney ignored/overridden forcefully by Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf, the Commander of the forces who explained the battle plan post execution in a forthright manner recorded for the ages:
