“Mistakes were made.”

But no prosecutions, other than one lawyer who deleted the word “not” in a FISA application. And his ultimate punishment was “time served,” or he was suspended for the length of time he was on suspension anyway during the investigation. He did not lose his job, he did not lose his law license, and he did not go to jail or pay any fines.

So who gives a rip what the I.G. finds when there are no consequences?

They were not mistakes... They were falsified submissions... they should be fired and facing jail time.

But laws are only for the little people and not the political establishment...

They have a Marine Lt. Colonel in the brig because he voiced criticism of the handling of the Afghan withdrawal. People are being held in solitary confinement over minor charges in D.C. because of their protests on Jan 6. The people who committed the FISA abuses should be doing multiple prison terms. The heavy hand of fascism is very selective on who it crushes.
