WASHINGTON — Scores of former Trump political appointees gathered at a GOP social club Wednesday night to hear Steve Bannon detail how they could help the next Republican president reconfigure government.
"If you’re going to take over the administrative state and deconstruct it, then you have to have shock troops prepared to take it over immediately," Bannon said in a telephone interview with NBC News. "I gave 'em fire and brimstone."

Trump often railed publicly about career civil servants and Obama administration political appointee holdovers whom he saw as obstacles to his agenda, referring to them collectively as the "deep state."
Bannon said he wants to see pre-trained teams ready to jump into federal agencies when the next Republican president takes office. For the most part, that means the tiers of presidential appointees whose postings don't require Senate confirmation.

The best outcome, IMHO, would be having a few hundred dedicated souls trained and ready to just burn the entire administrative state to the ground the moment a new Republican president is inaugurated.
That said, the "journalist" class was melting down over this, which is a sure sign that they're realizing that crazy uncle Joe and "heels up" Harris are looking like a one-term administration at this point.
This is exactly what we need.

I recommend going to the Virginia Military Institute. Go back 20 years and recruit the entire graduating class going 20 years back. That’s the core you can trust, and put them in charge. It’s broom closets and no telephones for the Swamp. 2 years in, the arrests start.

Real power does not come from just electing a charismatic populist like Trump without his having a deep network of movers and shakers that are synchronized behind him in a coherent force and can work the levers of the political machine. This was Trump’s mistake in Term 1. Term 2 must begin with mass firings at all levels unlike anything seen before.
This also requires loyal grass root politicians at the local and state levels that can shape the national party message and unify the message. It will take several elections to put all this in place but Bannon’s posse is about action, action, action. If you want talk watch Fox.
The election system is kaput as of 2020. Anyone who thinks it still works is deluding himself.

If the Republicans hope to ever win another election, they need to be printing “mail in ballots “ by the hundreds of thousands, and develop a distribution network to the respective counties.
Next they have to have dedicated poll workers to count the ballots, and oversee the counting , with the ability to stop ,or extend the process at a point

The Republicans are on the side of the Democrats and do not care if they ever win another election. They exist only to pretend there’s an opposition party.
Big problem Trump had was not nearly enough people that were not beholden to the Uniparty. Bannon is smart to start recruiting now. They will also need those boots on the ground for a national campaign.
Didn’t Bannon have the same plan for Trump in 2017. What does Trump do? Trump fills his cabinet almost exclusively with DS permanent bureaucratic hacks. If someone is working in DC and has that GOP (Uniparty R) affiliation they should be immediately disqualified for participation in any cabinet. I’d much prefer the first 15 names in the Podunk, Kentucky phone book to a cabinet, like Trump’s, composed of long term GOP swamp politicos with that DC stench about them.
