Yep that is the situation. His disability coverage is about a third of what he was making as an overpaid airline Captain. He is going to have to make some serious adjustments to his lifestyle.
Because people want to buy their Cheap Chinese Crap Products (CCCP) at Walmart.
I’d sooner close the borders to Chinese products than South American immigrants; the latter *might* to some degree assimilate and/or bring advantages to this country*, the former is nothing other than giving money to a fascist regime that is going to use as much of it as possible to kill Americans.
*Obviously we should completely control who comes across the borders, too! The *only* rightful and reasonable goal of any sane immigration policy should be to brain-drain the rest of the world of their best and brightest (and healthiest). We owe no other nation *anything*, at least morally.
It is a game of percentages... he will most likely be fine. Our bodies are amazing and can overcome a lot of idiotic nonsense. But every once in a while something will trip them up.
I do not believe that public safety is the real reason for these shots.

Just saw a tv commercial with a guy who claims he survived coof and his final words were “No matter what the side effects of the vaccine may be, they’re not as bad as covid”.

Since the study was done at a VA hospital I think the previous COVID health status of the patients was probably not the best. This may be an assumption but I am under the impression that vets try to avoid care at a VA hospital unless absolutely needed. Such as in cases of some chronic condition.
Also keep in mind how hospitalization may be defined. These participants could very well have spent up to 24 hours in the ER being treated but not considered admitted if VA criteria is similar to that of Medicare.
It is also known that it is not uncommon for patients to develop cardiac problems following a bout with severe pneumonia. A correlation of pulmonary embolism and pneumonia has also been shown.
What this means is that preventative treatment that focuses on keeping the lungs healthy is very important. Guess what has not been emphasized? The very same.
BUT, were they VAXXED?
Was it COVID or the VAX?
EVERY study/report MUST show vaxxed or unvaxxed. AND vaxxed MUST INCLUDE ALL VAXXED regardless of WHEN they were vaxxed.
Some people drop dead immediately after getting the vax, yet they won’t be counted as vaxxed. Ridiculous!

Yeah right! The side effects of the jab include death. That can’t be as bad as COVID! Dying from COVID is more painful than dying from the jab. No brainer - take the jab!

tactic.
Very large woman telling the story of how she almost died of Coof, but had been vaccinated against so she didn’t.
Her line was “Yes, I know the vaccine has side effects but if I had to do it all over again, I would”
This is the new plan.
Admit the vax has side effects but scare you into taking it anyway.

In the end of their scenario, just say sorry for all the side effects and deaths. you guys did a great job for your sacrifices.

this pertains especially for ‘naturally’ infected, but if you read the JH linked article, it’s more common in ICU (critical) cases although not unheard of in less serious cases.

There are ace receptors in the heart tissue, which are targeted by the virus along with all the other ace receptors, which causes heart inflamation, which interfers with pumping efficiency, which contributes to hypoxia. O2 makes the body go ‘round. I’ve read elsewhere that a moderate+ case of covid may degrade lung efficiency to that of a career smoker because of the same inflamatory damage. If the lungs can’t capture 02 and the heart can’t circulate enough 02, something’s going to break.
In the knee-jerk conversations of vax no vax, we’ve forgotten how insidious the virus is to the human body - even in asymptomatics. Knowing ALL the risks is part of a mature look at the real risk-assessment a person must make when deciding which path to tread.
It’s real. The damage done by covid was the central topic once upon a time, before it was derailed by the vax discussion. But in fairness, the assumed ‘most’ in the title should be spelled out as ‘some survivors.’ As JH clarifies it’s mostly in recovered ICU cases and not as common in mild or asymptomatic cases.
Because China owns and operates the Democrat Party.
