Judge sentences man for “the most heinous” example of sex trafficking she had ever seen in her career.

Calvin Freeman / Photo via FOX 6 Milwaukee WISCONSIN – On Monday, Calvin C. Freeman, Jr. was sentenced to a term of 45 years’ imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release after being convicted of 14 federal crimes, including sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, interstate transportation for prostitution, interstate transportation of a minor for criminal sexual activity, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, as well as obstruction and contempt of court.

In announcing the sentence, Chief United States District Judge Pamela Pepper recounted the decades of violence that Freeman inflicted on his victims. She cited many examples of his tactics, including incidents in which Freeman slammed one of his victims into a bathtub, put a cigarette out on a victim’s face, beat a victim with an iron, and forced a victim to continue walking the street looking for prostitution dates immediately after she had been violently raped and robbed. Judge Pepper also described Freeman’s disturbing pattern of beating his victims with a belt, noting that those beatings often left the imprint of Freeman’s designer belt buckle on their bodies. She noted that while the violence itself was “ugly” and “vicious,” the fact that Freeman used this violence to compel women to engage in commerce sex acts for his profit made it all the more egregious.

Too bad they can’t just disappear him - we have to pay for his incarceration.

Sex trafficking = slave trade. The man is a black slave trader.

Chief Judge Pepper rejected Freeman’s arguments that his conduct was the result of his upbringing or that his victims had voluntarily entered the lifestyle and thus knew what they were signing up for.

My question exactly.

Demon possessed. Capital punishment deserved but in some ways too good for him. He deserves life in prison, in solitary, in a six by six by six hole, in the ground and when he expires they can just fill it in.

Well, 50 years in Federal Court means no parole. I think you can maybe get a max of 10% off your sentence for good behavior, but going 45 years without having some disciplinary issues would be hard for most violent types like this guy.

Should have been 45 years times 14 for each instance = 630 years with parole after 250 years.

Agreed. I don’t understand the “sentencings” these days.

She really threw the book at him, didn’t she. And the kitchen sink. He can do 45 years standing on his head and not change positions. In six months he will be out and sex trafficking again.

Hang the S.O.B. slowly, by raising him up, rather than dropping him down.

Then douse him with lighter fluid, stand back, and enjoy a good smoke.

45 years! Apparently slavery isn’t that big a deal these days.

The appropriate sentence would have been to allow the victims to vivisect the perp. Without the benefit of anesthesia.

But, that’s not allowed. So, a sentence of life without parole would have at least meant that this toilet bowl straggler would have never been free again.

But this piece of raw sewage is only 41, and it could conceivably breathe free again.

Too lenient.

[[so why was the judge so lenient on him?]]

Because he wasnt a white cop who held down a violent black man while the perp was dying of a massive drug overdose, with a perfectly, egal and effective hold, approved for,use on violent perps, while simultaneously trying to gain control of an increasingly violent street situation, while awaiting the ambulance that had been called to arrive on the scene to treat the overdose.

The daughter of one of my high school teachers became a prostitute.

Nice girl from a good family.

Average looking.

Pimp told her he loved her and took her to Missouri.

He told her he’d kill her if she tried to leave.

She tried to leave.

He killed her.

I don’t think they ever caught him.

Small city girl.

Destroyed her Dad.
