On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) praised Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for “calling out the intellectual laziness of Sen. Manchin when he said that I think 1.5 trillion should do it and we don’t want to move towards what he called an entitlement society.” And said that he “thought we had advanced beyond such outdated notions.”

Progressivism breeds entitled and selfish pukes. It helps people to be worse than they otherwise might be.
Also, as to what you’d call an entitled to other people’s stuff hoard: “Democrat voting block” comes to mind.

Vote buying is always popular with politicians. Roman emperors provided bread and circus. Dems promise a ruinously expensive welfare state. Societies addicted to free stuff always end in raging inflation and famine when the productive class is taxed to death.

A perfect case of why we CAN’T live together.
Why would anyone who supports Jones/Sanders want to live under rules set by Manchin?
And the reverse is also true.
This system worked for a time. It’s time has passed.
