WINCHESTER, Virginia — An Emergency Room nurse fired for not taking the shot after his religious exemption was denied has spoken candidly to LifeSiteNews about what he saw on the so-called frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis.
In a video interview published yesterday, former Valley Health System nurse Brad McDowell spoke to LifeSite correspondent Jim Hale about the contrast between what he has witnessed and the story being told by the media regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The narrative that we’re being told didn’t really line up with reality,” McDowell stated. “Most people of working age aren’t of a risk [for contracting COVID].”
Addressing the COVID vaccine lobby’s position that receiving the experimental jab is doing your obligatory part “for humanity,” McDowell said that the risks associated with receiving the injections do not outweigh any of the potential benefits.
“I have a family,” he said. “And what good am I to my family if I get injured from a vaccine?”
The vaccines, which have been touted by the media and public health officials around the world as “safe and effective” have been linked to millions of injuries worldwide and, in at least a few tens of thousands of cases, death.
Per the World Health Organization’s own database for logging vaccine adverse effects, the COVID-19 vaccines have been linked to over 2 million adverse effects in 2021 alone.
More alarming, the WHO data shows that young people aged 18-44 are the group with the highest reported incidences of COVID vaccine related injury, whereas the risk of them dying from COVID, barring those with comorbidities, is close to zero.
Additionally, according to European Union (EU) data, the abortion-tainted shots have been linked to over 20,000 deaths in that part of the world, with more than 1 million “serious” injuries reported in those countries since the start of the vaccine rollout.
Specifically, the “FDA-approved” Pfizer jab, per the EU data, has potentially caused a whopping 22,844 blood disorders, 148,477 nervous system disorders, and 910 adverse events related to “pregnancy, puerperium and perinatal conditions.”
Prefacing McDowell’s further comments, LifeSite’s Jim Hale tells viewers that the healthcare worker shortage, which officials claim is due to the stress on the system created by the COVID virus, in reality is a symptom of the strict vaccine mandates that have been imposed, leading to the resignation and firing of thousands of healthcare professionals nationwide.
“They can’t open a bed that they don’t have a nurse and a tech to staff,” McDowell told LifeSiteNews, confirming Hale’s statement. “I can tell you that all those beds [at Valley Health] are not open, and I know that for a fact.”
“There are beds closed, and they’re saying they’re … at capacity, but it’s not because there’s not enough beds,” he continued.
“It’s not because of the patient load. It’s because of the [diminished] workforce load.”
McDowell’s religious exemption was denied despite the hospital already facing a worker shortage that has led to patients being turned away and sent to other hospitals.”
The professional nurse cannot reconcile the claim made by the health system that the vaccine mandates are for the health and safety of patients with the system’s mandate-caused inability to care for all those who enter the hospital in need of treatment.
“If you think about it, you have the political elite, the media elite, the people at the highest levels of the CDC, the pharmaceutical industry, they are running, they run the whole narrative,” stated McDowell.
“They’re the ones pushing it, they’re the ones who benefit the most from everyone taking a vaccine,” he explained.
The shortage at Valley Health System in Virginia is not an isolated problem according to other whistleblowers in the country.
Last month, the husband of a former nurse in upstate New York, who left her post after refusing to comply with vaccine coercion, told LifeSite the same shortage is occurring in their state, which led to the closure of the entire maternity ward at his wife’s ex-hospital.
As reported by LifeSite, as many as 94,000 healthcare workers are facing termination in New York as a result of the statewide mandate, leaving many questioning if the measures are really about health.
McDowell, in a final statement of encouragement, told other people facing dictatorial COVID mandates to, “Stand your ground; I know everybody has financial obligations… I do too… Put your faith in God,”
“Stand your ground, and a way will be made for you.”
Who would thought 20 or so years ago, that people would be fired and have their lives ruined for not taking an unproven vaccine that is proving to cause major medical problems
the fired are now free to speak out
Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose..
Hospitals should Hire, Not Fire, Nurses, Doctors, etc.. with Natural Immunity..

I am not surprised, since the election of Bill Clinton and the refusal of the Senate to impeach him was a harbinger of the Post-Constitutional United States ...
I interviewed for and was offered a job here. I turned it down when I found out they were requiring the vax. Winchester... pretty red area.
Meanwhile, I just wish Novavax was applying to be used in the US, but I suspect that Pfizer is working behind the scenes to keep it out like I think they did with AstraZenica.
I have a friend that’s an RN in Fort Smith, AR. She said there’s about to be a critical shortage of nurses once they terminate healthcare workers that refuse the vaccine.
She said that big chain pharmacies are closed, such as the local Walgreens, because pharm techs, etc., are refusing and being terminated or quit.
Might be part of the bigger plan.
Part of the Obama’s fundamental changing of America = destroy the best medical care in the world.
You mean convict and remove. The House did impeach him.
Same with defunding local cops = replaced by a national police force. Hello Stasi, Gestapo, etc.
This is apparently happening across our nation re hospitals!:
“There are beds closed, and they’re saying they’re … at capacity, but it’s not because there’s not enough beds” !
“It’s not because of the patient load. It’s because of the [diminished] workforce load.”
AKA not enough RN’s and other hospital workers to treat non Covid patients.
Keep looking! I hate to sound morbid, but 50-80 year old vaccinated people are dropping like flies in the Midwest where I am. This is opening up jobs left and right…
“It’s not because of the patient load. It’s because of the [diminished] workforce load.”
Now, that's enlightening.
COVID DENIER!!! Oh, sorry. Pretty soon COVID will have town square monuments erected to it.
I see the numbers. Hospitalizations from “covid” are way down. So there is NO bed shortage in hospitals. This is another excuse to deny care to people who didn’t get jabbed.
Politicians, hospital admins, the media .. can claim capacity issues thru their lies : not only thru omission - via not pointing out that there are many empty beds caused by fired nurses and other staff who have natural immunity
