No there’s not, did cattle stop reproducing? No. Same thing with trees. They grow from the gulf coast all the way to the arctic circle. Wood is expensive due to government policy, not supply.

There’s no serious shortage but believe me, the steaks are not what they used to be. A very inferior grade of beef is being used, something that contains inedible material that has to eventually be taken out of your mouth after fruitless chewing rather than swallowed.

In NYC, anyway.

You have to go to a really expensive steak house to get real steak.

Things in Kansas and other places may be different.
