Covid vaccines have about a 6% failure rate overall, mainly in immune-deficient people such as the elderly.
It is reasonable for such people to use early shopping hours and masks for the modest short-term protection masks can provide.

Don’t force it on everyone else!
I get seriously tired of classifying “elderly people” as immune deficient. Some of us are definitely not.
My doc literally prescribes 12 nutritional supplements per day, everything that boosts the immune system and more. I’ve been taking all that stuff every morning for the last 50 years. My doc did NOT tell me to get the vax, quite the contrary.
I’m healthier than most younger people, even teenagers who eat crap.
