Aspirin is one of those drugs that has been around forever. It is commonly used as a pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and as a blood thinner. Surprisingly it may also have benefit in treating COVID.
A paper in Anesthesia and Analgesia published last spring titled, “Aspirin use is associated with decreased mechanical ventilation, intensive care unit admission, and in-hospital mortality in hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease 2019.”
This was a retrospective, observational study of adult patients admitted to multiple hospitals in the U.S. between March and July 2020, in the early days of COVID. The primary outcome addressed by the researchers from George Washington University was the need for mechanical ventilation, which then, and still now, carries an extremely high chance of never leaving the ICU alive.
This was not a gold standard randomized prospective clinical trial. That would not be feasible in this situation since study patients were already hospitalized and critically ill. Remember in the early days, one needed to be extremely ill before even being admitted to the hospital rather than being sent home until sick enough to return and go straight to the ICU.
But the results were impressive. As reported last week by the Jerusalem Post,
The team investigated more than 400 COVID patients from hospitals across the United States who take aspirin unrelated to their COVID disease, and found that the treatment reduced the risk of several parameters by almost half: reaching mechanical ventilation by 44%, ICU admissions by 43%, and overall in-hospital mortality by 47%.
Why would aspirin be helpful for COVID, a respiratory disease? What if COVID is more than simply a lung disease or pneumonia? COVID is actually thought to be a microvascular disease causing blood clots, as described in the medical journal Circulation,

Aspirin prevents blood clots. You can get those from Covid and from the vaccines.
Taking aspirin regularly can prevent the formation of clots.
Just be careful as aspirin is very hard on your stomach lining, so it is recommended to take it with foods that protect the stomach.
The other day they came out and said NOT to take a daily aspirin to prevent heart attacks!
Some guy on The Donald was talking about his wife and how she was getting sick of his ‘conspiracy theories’ about HCQ and then Ivermectin being bad-mouthed, just so the drug companies can make more money and the Fascist leaders could accumulate more power.
Then she hears that aspirin might be helpful, so she’s happy that there is an easy and cheap way to help prevent/mitigate the virus and was happy that she could do it without being associated with a ‘conspiracy’...and then a few days later, right on cue, she hears aspirin being bad-mouthed after 20 years of successful use.
FINALLY, she was Red-Pilled (that’s Millennial talk for waking up to the fact that we’re getting played). Now she’s starting to think that Ivermectin might even have more uses than just deworming horses.
I guess everyone has a breaking point, where they can accept that they’re being played, but it is quite high in many people.

I just wonder if people who take a daily aspirin are more likely to take something else that helps their chances. Maybe they tend to take more Vitamin D?
A couple years ago on FR there was a lot of chatter about food grade diatomaceous earth for parasite issues. I wonder if this would be an option for Covid. (Or maybe the properties are totally different and it wouldn’t work at all?)
I saw that they came out recently to advise against aspirin for to prevent heartattacks. I was thinking they’re trying to poo poo every OTC covid treatment. They want people to die.
I’m grateful to have willows growing on my property.

Well...if people take aspirin they might not die of WuFlu, and they desperately want people to die of WuFlu so that they can continue pushing the frankenshot.

Have been taking daily Vitamin D3 (125 Mcg) and low-dose aspirin (81 mg) for at least 10 years...NO side effects...
I also enjoy Gin and Tonic beverages...
Tonic water contains Quinine...an anti-malarial drug and known ion channel modulator, just like...
You guessed it!...Hydroxychloroquine...and drum roll please...Ivermectin...
Who knew that a relaxing evening G&T might also be a potential help to fighting Covid...?
