Wyoming Sen. Anthony Bouchard’s campaign for U.S. House experienced a stark drop in fundraising in the most recent quarter, according to newly released federal campaign finance data.

In quarter three — which spans from July to September — the campaign raised $65,500. That’s compared to $213,000 in the second quarter and $334,500 in the first quarter. Bouchard’s campaign has roughly $87,000 left in the bank.

The campaign has considerably less cash on hand than Bouchard’s opponents: Rep. Liz Cheney has almost $3,700,000 left in the bank, while Harriet Hageman, who received the coveted endorsement of former President Donald Trump, has almost $245,000.

Bouchard, a state senator from Cheyenne who was the first Republican to challenge Cheney, did not respond to request for comment.

Since this guy is not dropping out, he's likely a paid spoiler to try to help out Cheney.

But it's not working out too well.

The GP wants Cheney back. They’ll see to it that she returns.

Not if every republican voter turns out for Harriett. And if Lizard makes it through the primary because of Democrats flooding in to vote for her since it is an open primary (the Stupid Party never learns) then republican voters must sit out the general and give it to the Democrat. It is only one House seat. If it were a Senate seat, that would be different. Lizard Cheney must be ousted, whatever the cost.

This is Swamp thinking.

Why is fundraising such a focus, through the years? There is always talk about ad buys, but the numbers are not about that. They are about paying campaign staff who are, in essence, the creatures of the Swamp. They are always long time party workers. Fund raising is about their paychecks more than most anything.

The internet erases much of this. Ad buys can be arranged with a volunteer on a telephone, what few need to happen. The real message gets out online and that can be the candidate and a speechwriter.

Bouchard needs to stand down. Whatever his legislative district is needs to have a word with him and indicate to him that the Democrat there will be voted for if he continues this.

......Beto raised about 80 million largely from out of state or out of country marxists/globalist/democrats. Cruz raised about 37 million according to the most readily available record.

Cruz still kicked Beto’s ass. Cheney will be baking cookies in a year.

Money doesn’t vote, people vote and Wy voters by an overwhelming margin want her gone.. If money was so important then Clinton, who out raised Trump 2-1 would not have lost to him.

We also know the bulk of her money is reported to have comer from outside the State.

All primaries should be limited to the one party registration. Independents and opposing parties not allowed!!

With cash on hand dwindling, new contributions drying up, and the GOP primary still almost a year away, my guess is Bouchard will be dropping out soon.

WY has RCV-enabled voting machines.

And Derp State is doing its damndest to get RCV passed in NY.

Three guesses why AK and ME haven’t been able to get rid of Murky and Collins.

Unless WY voters insist in going back to dumb voting machines and the resist the effort to have RCV shoved down their throats, Cheney will be re-elected. Only the voters will have nothing to do with it.

This is where the Buckley “Lowell Weicker” option would be appropriate.

Beto turned the last large county in Texas Purple in 2018 and Biden turned that same county solid Blue. (Tarrant)

Cruz might have won the battle, but we're losing the war.

I wouldn’t sit out. I’d actually hold my nose and vote for the dem. It’s like that old ethics question: you are in a room with Hitler, Stalin, and (insert terrible modern politician here). Your gun holds only two bullets. Who do you shoot? . The correct answer is you shoot (whoever the terrible modern politician is) twice to make sure he’s dead.

Not voting would be equivalent to “shooting” once. Voting for the enemy would be the second “shot” just to be sure

Strange that we don’t hear this kind of negativity from others who live in Texas.
Just saying, for some people the glass is always half empty. It seems for some, if there are 100 battles and we lose one of them we’re losing the war. I am just sick and tired of the relentless negativity displayed by many whom are supposed to be on our side, who’ve not yet figured out that the goal of the propaganda and info war being waged against us is to create this kind of relentless negativity on our side. This ain’t rocket science people, let’s stop reacting the way the commies want us too.

Have you paid attention to politics in the past 30 years? Every election we're told to hold our noses and vote for a GOP pol that would be less terrible than the dem. That was the best they ever offered us (in most discricts). And even that was too much to ask for. We lost a battle, the country lurched left. We won a battle, the country lurched left. When we got the white house, the senate and the house we thought we had finally won the WAR and the GOP told us to pound sand, they never meant any of it and weren't going to do any of it and block Trump instead. This is the GOP.

It's time to say that attitude of trying to vote for the "less terrible" was a loser and that was by design.

But you do as you wish. I'm done with the Bush wing of the GOP and I want them gone, all of them.

Why are you telling me that. I wouldn’t vote for a Bush or a Bush endorsed candidate. I agree with you.

Of course I cannot see the future but I can say with confidence that it becomes difficult if not impossible to cheat when everyone has their eyes on you and is looking for exactly that.

Money doesn’t vote

That is true but money can translate into votes through saturation advertising and slick messaging.

Just remember, the 2020 election doesn’t get stolen without the willing help of the GOP-e. Cheating is not below them. Now we know.
