The days-long fire in July 2020 that destroyed the USS Bonhomme Richard was preventable, according to a recent report from the Navy.
A 400-page report, seen by The Associated Press, listed 17 officers and sailors whose actions directly caused the ship's destruction and another 17 who contributed to its loss.
“Although the fire was started by an act of arson, the ship was lost due to an inability to extinguish the fire,” the Navy's report said. ...
...Specifically, the report said the crew did not know how to use the ship's main fire fighting foam system, which was also poorly maintained. The system had a button to activate it, but the report said "no member of the crew interviewed considered this action or had specific knowledge as to the location of the button or its function,"...

My bro taught fire fighting aboard ships. They knew how to use every tool there was....they must have been told to stand down.
But I am sure their training on sexual harassment and diversity were all up to date
Sounds like the person responsible for pressing the button was white and was afraid to press it because he thought he would be exhibiting white privilege.
I read that the fire equipment was rendered inoperable on the lower vehicle stowage, known as “Lower V,” where the fire started.
Send our new 4 star admiral to fix it.
Complete incompetence. Who was the ships captain btw?
The CCP can safely downsize its navy, because our woke navy will sink its own ships. The Chicoms’ most effective weapon against us would be covert funding of diversity programs. The only things that will survive a nuclear war are cockroaches and HR “diversity and inclusion” trainers. Both seem to be indestructible.
CRT more important.
The Chinese will not fail to notice. But Thoroughly Modern Milley is so far up Bidet's butt he really doesn't care. Lose Kabul, lose a ship, lose Taiwan? Who cares? We need to fire all Trump supporters and unvaccinated service members. Yeah, that'll make the Chinese scared!
“ sounds like a complete command and control failure, from training to basic knowledge ”

Don’t be so judgmental… they probably had gone a long way toward achieving equity and inclusiveness. And those are the most important things. /sarc
I think a main point is being missed here. This happened in July 2020. President Trump was in charge, not Biden. This is laid at President Trump’s feet evem though what led to this probaby started during the Obama administration. The main point though is Trump was President.
Sounds like the entire command of that ship should be drummed out of the navy. Unlikely to happen though. No one is accountable for anything anymore.
What happens when the crew spends more time in sensitivity training than they do in damage control exercises.

Probably all those woke power point slides, transgender and fag makeup causes quite an intense fire not to mention the girly men running around waving their hands actually fanned the flames.
Fragile democrats have done more damage to the US fleet than any adversary since Imperial Japan.
Sub sailors dont call them “ surface pukes” for nothing. You don’t stay on a sub long, if you cant learn simple damage control.
How are the going to blame this one on affirmative action female and minority promotions?
