Chinese agents not continually releasing new viruses could explain it. Japan does have excellent border control.
Maybe it’s because their DNA is strikingly similar to the DNA of the virus creators.

The swift spreading Delta variant has had its run - they have herd immunity in the big city. They got it the old fashioned way, through naturally acquired immunity.
It is one of the most densely populated areas on Earth, and they did not lock down. Daily life is so routinely jam packed, that they hire Subway Pushers, to squash people in, so that the train doors can close.
Japan COVID bump for later....
They got vaccine supplies slowly and in limited quantity, so they used a priority list for who got them.
Bottom line: perhaps they got natural herd immunity?

Mysterious? You mean, a month Japan’s top government medical official said it was time for Ivermectin. Not so mysterious. Neither is the lack of MSM reporting about it.
My guess is that there are a couple of typhoid marys out there and maybe they went out of town on vacation.
