Judge Amy Berman Jackson releases a 1/6 defendant from pre-trial prison, where has been held since March, after he writes a letter promising that he has changed his political views and now hates Trump. The judge directs his father to keep Fox and MSNBC off in the house.
This is from The Onion right..so basically all a person has to say is that he hates Trump and all good

These are words. You can always vote how you really feel later. Most people already know this is a forced statement.
No it’s not fair, logical and probably not even legal, but this is where America is right now. Notice, you don’t read about any high powered lawyers racing to represent these people the way they offered to represent residents of GITMO.

DC Judge Amy Jackson is one of the sleazier politicized Federal judges in the circuit. If you’re a Democrat shopping a Federal judicial forum sympathetic to your issue, she is at the top of your list
Ive seen this, in China..or Iran, heck even North Korea has standards..but this USED to be America, not anymore apparently
