Virginia Utility Company Funding Fake Gun Group Bashing Youngkin

Dominion (Utility) has been funneling piles of cash to a Democrat dark money group that’s posing as a conservative outlet upset by Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin’s supposed squishiness on the Second Amendment.

The political news outlet Axios reported in late September that the Accountability Virginia operation has ties to Democratic activists and is funding an ad campaign in which the Democrats pose as conservatives “to drive a wedge between the Republican candidate for Virginia governor and his core voters.”

The ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google and Snapchat target rural areas of the state that support Youngkin, and the ads question his commitment to the Second Amendment, Axios reported.

Dominion gave $200,000 between July and September to the PAC running the ads.

These ads aren’t meant to drive rural voters from Youngkin to McAuliffe. They’re designed to keep Republicans and conservatives at home on Election Day; to depress turnout in parts of the state where Youngkin is expected to win heavily in the hopes of helping McAuliffe eke out a victory.

I hope that Virginia gun owners will spread the word about Dominion’s dishonest attempt to depress our turnout on Election Day. It would be great if, instead of keeping gun owners at home, the outing of the groups behind these misleading ads got Second Amendment advocates so fired up that they flocked to the polls instead.

Dominion has around 95 billion in assets.
Oh, and they’re a monopoly.

I believe Dominion is the supplier of power to a number of rural co-ops,including mine, which supply our primarily conservative areas. Always looked at Dominion as being ‘one of us’ but might need to change that opinion.

Dominion (Utility) has been funneling piles of cash to a Democrat dark money group that’s posing as a conservative outlet...

Liberal tactics are based on the ability and willingness to lie to achieve goals. Same as their fake 'hate crimes' and fake 'threats' and every other kind of lie they push to cheat... Luckily for them the liberal Elites' butt boys in the press and DOJ and FBI are more than willing to play gullible fools for democrat scum's goals.

Dominion (D) gone libtard green after selling off 10B gas assets to warren buffet.

They need a libtard government to push green energy expenses on entire states.

Dominion ought to be spending this money doing a better job of keeping the lights on. Because they really suck at that.

Dominion provides transmission. Generation is provided by whomever your coop has contracted with, probably ODEC (Old Dominion Electric Cooperative).

Good upgrade regarding the Dominion post I made. I believe we do get power from ODEC for Delaware Electric Co-Op which I belong to.

My coop is NOVEC. They used to buy power from ODEC, but now buy it on the market. Around 10 years ago, maybe longer, they said that ODEC’s rates were too high and negotiated with ODEC to terminate the contract. So now NOVEC can buy power from any generator with excess capacity. Interesting how this works.

Dominion has asked for their $200,000 back.

The PAC they donated to has pretended to be pro-gun.
