Incumbent write-in candidate Byron Brown, a Democrat, leads his party’s socialist nominee India Walton by 17 points in the hotly contested Buffalo mayor’s race that is a microcosm of the nationwide ideological rift in the Democratic Party, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

Walton stunned the political world by defeating four-term incumbent Brown in a low-turnout June Democratic primary — the biggest upset since fellow Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez toppled ex-Congressman and Queens Democratic Party leader Joe Crowley in the 2018 primary.

AOC stumped on the campaign trail with Walton last weekend.

I live near Buffalo. Byron Brown has done a pretty good job, for a Democrat. So much so that the democrats wanted to replace him with someone more lefty.

He is almost a DINO (democrat in name only)

The tide has been slowly turning against the leftist totalitarians and if it breaks our way the fortunes of the unDemocratic Party will wash out to sea. We should know which way it will go during the holidays.

I lived close to Buffalo until I moved about a year and a half ago. I am a very Trump republican. I could never find much to say against Byron Brown.

Let’s Go Bryon!

Rat Party Headquarters isn’t worried. They’re fully aware that SCOTUS ruled last January that there are no more rules for elections in this country.Something terrible will happen to many of the ballots cast for the incumbent.

I wouldn’t say I was a huge Brown fan. BUT, last year, when a lot of mayors were letting their cities burn to the ground, Byron Brown backed the police, stood for law and order and was intolerant of vandalizing street mobs. He is head and shoulders above that dingbat India Walton. He should be ahead by 37 points.

Put it this way, outside of NYC, Buffalo is the only metro area that went for Cuomo.
