Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was mercilessly booed off a stage during a plumbers’ union fundraiser amid fallout over the city’s vaccine mandate for municipal workers, video shows.
A 25-second clip posted to Twitter shows the moment the Democratic mayor was loudly jeered Sunday as she was introduced to Plumbers Union Local 130 – the Windy City’s first union to endorse her in the 2019 runoff election.
“I knew that was going to happen,” one attendee said just as the crowd drowned out Lightfoot’s introduction.

Dems lose the unions and their power base is gone. It will affect cit state elections the most since they have figured out how to steal national elections.
About damn time. Many of these pols need to be shamed, so shamed that they won’t even show themselves in public.
To be fair, when they heard that Beetlejuice was making an appearance, they thought they would be seeing a movie. Their disappointment is quite understandable.

Well, the people who are stealing the national elections for them are the same ones stealing the city elections. However, they aren’t relying on the plumbers union to steal those elections anymore. Teachers unions more likely.
I think the important manpower for those steals are based in the same apparatus as their state and city power bases.
So, if they start losing the local powerbase, they can kiss national elections goodbye.

Other unions paid many millions to keep 130 afloat.
Also, the benefits were cut to the bone from the gold-plated benefits of the recent past.
My son-in-law is a union plumber.
