Lawsuit claims Virginia's Fairfax County is violating election laws

(The Center Square) – A lawsuit filed by a free-market think tank claims Fairfax County is violating Virginia election laws by approving absentee and mail-in ballot applications that do not include information required by the state, but county officials are saying they have not broken any laws.

The lawsuit, filed by the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, asserts the county is approving ballot applications that have been requested by mail or digitally and do not include the last four digits of the applicant’s social security number. Section 24.2-701 states that an applicant must provide this information, unless the person is filling out the application in person.

“This requirement is designed to protect the right to vote by ensuring that only the eligible voter may obtain an absentee ballot in his or her name,” the lawsuit states.

As evidence, the lawsuit cited a signed affidavit signed by Fairfax County resident Christine Brim who said she inspected 339 absentee and mail-in ballots, which were submitted by mail and did not include a social security number. She said she inspected them with the permission of Fairfax County General Registrar Scott Konopasek.

The affidavit alleges Fairfax County Electoral Electoral Board Chairman Stephen Hunt wrote an email to Brim, in which he confirmed the county was approving absentee ballot applications that did not include the last four digits of the applicant’s social security number, but had been approved.

Laws are only for conservatives, the left can, and does, as it wants.

The first, most important part of solving a problem is admitting you have one.

The GOPe thinks all this election stealing stuff is just Trump conspiracy theory.

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title24.2/chapter7/section24.2-701

the law, seems pretty clear to me:

C. Applications for absentee ballots shall contain the following information:

1. The applicant’s printed name and the last four digits of the applicant’s social security number. However, an applicant completing the application in person shall not be required to provide the last four digits of his social security number;

2. A statement that he is registered in the county or city in which he offers to vote and his residence address in such county or city. Any person temporarily residing outside the United States shall provide the last date of residency at his Virginia residence address, if that residence is no longer available to him. Any covered voter, as defined in § 24.2-452, who is not a registered voter may file the applications to register and for a ballot simultaneously; and

3. The complete address to which the ballot is to be sent directly to the applicant, unless the application is made in person at a time when the printed ballots for the election are available and the applicant chooses to vote in person at the time of completing his application. The address given shall be (i) the address of the applicant on file in the registration records; (ii) the address at which he will be located while absent from his county or city; or (iii) the address at which he will be located while temporarily confined due to a disability or illness. No ballot shall be sent to, or in care of, any other person.

D. An application shall not be required for any registered voter appearing in person to cast an absentee ballot pursuant to § 24.2-701.1.

The Dims are up to their old tricks. Only this time they are being watched. Unfortunately, nothing will come of it. The only way to defeat them is by making the margins so lopsided that they can’t overtake the numbers with their cheating.

The poll numbers have Youngkin up by 8, so if they rig the numbers to put McAuliffe over the top it will look mighty suspicious. They only have a handful of blue Virginia counties to work with.

No they don't. They were in on the steal. Anything to rid them of orange man. A mistake the are making is thinking that once the dems stole a presidential election and two senate seats with their help, everything would go back to normal and fraud would be limited to some inner cities. They are all on record that none of the irregularities of 2020 are real or, if they are, indicate anything wrong. So all of that will never go away, elections will be scripted in advance, and the GOP will only be allowed to win enough elections to appear to be an actual opposition party.

Elections are lost when eyes are not on the prize. There are supposed to be an equal number of D and R in the room at all times during an election and we let MSM and Democrats change that. They are now trying to start a race war and it couldn’t be more obvious. I saw a quick clip over at CanadaFreePress on their attempt to outlaw being white, “My six-year-old came to me and asked if she was born evil because she was a white person”, so give that a look. The fact that is going in in Loudoun County on top of the r@p3 means that district needs to be cleansed of leftism. Volunteering to work elections is a start, as I know personally when I did that a D told me she used to pretend to be an R when signing paperwork since no R’s ever worked that location before me. THAT is how they do it!

The GOPe was F’ing in on the election theft and are fronting. No way the Democrats could do this alone, as election laws require equal number of D and R when receiving and counting votes. Mike Pence wasn’t the only one to backstab us.
