Every culture needs a way to differentiate themselves from their negative brethren, from the @$$#0les in their culture. When you see a white guy with spiked hair, neck tattoos and studs in his tongue you naturally give him wide leeway.
I doubt black people want to be treated in this way but the onus is on them to differentiate.

I’m not a traveler, nor do I go to many places around where I live in a city of several thousands, but I mostly have nice encounters with all colors. Very polite people. Maybe I’m just lucky.
