Add train thefts to the long list of serious problems in crime-ridden, Democrat-controlled Los Angeles.
Journalist Adam Housley, who previously worked for Fox News, alerted America to this issue (which also could perhaps add to supply chain woes) by tweeting out a dystopian-like image of what appears to be the remnants of ransacked materials left on train tracks.
“Meantime…this is modern day train robbery. Modern day LA not far from Union Station…a few days ago. Unfortunately it is happening every day. As soon as the train stops, thieves start opening containers. It is quite well organized. This is the main line,” Housley claimed, in informing his 200,000-plus social media followers.

GMTA!
some “Pinkertons” with rifles could clear that right up.
The problem is that the train isn’t going fast enough.
Invest In several billion dollars worth of modern high speed railway and all the trash will magically disappear…
Maybe …
Or some railroad bulls detraining them at about 40 MPH.
That train is missing a cow catcher.
Filth is the lefts second name
Early on, in the 70’s, ‘kids’ split our train while creeping into railyard, causing brakes to apply. The railroad cops ran up to our engine for shelter. Even armed, they waited for awhile till the deed was done. Purps knew which trailer to break into and steal TV’s and stereo equipment. They would run along with compasses in hand. When the arrow went nuts ( magnets inside), they struck.
I’m sure train robbery has been de-criminalized in CA because each perp takes less than $950 worth of stuff.
Dem utopia.
Not sure I get the gist of this. The only “crime” I see in this photo might be littering or illegal dumping, I don’t see anyone looting a train. I looked at the linked article and still don’t get it. I understand there is a lot of bad crap going on right now but show me a still photo of some trash on some train track that could be any big city and expect me to “see” looting, sorry no.
This goes a long way to explaining how so many deeply discounted “NEW” items are showing up on eBay, shipping from the Los Angeles area. How can eBay sellers have so many new items in a supply chain crisis? This seems to be the answer.
It helps to READ the article. They arrested 7 guys selling $4,000 TVs stolen from the train, among other high value goods.
Not only items stolen from trains but the blatant robberies from drugs stores. Items like makeup and other expensive little items that CVS & Walgreens has on the shelf. These end up on EBAY all being shipped from California.
This is why perfume is in a locked case. This is also why there are only 2 Gillette razor cartridges on the shelf in a magnetic box that is unsealed at the counter.
We all end up paying for these in the form of higher prices for everyday normal items.
The way California is going, this is how they’ll eventually clear the backlog at the ports.
Is that Venezuela. Oh. We are Venezuela.
And the left demands we sort our trash and recycle because it’s the only way to save the planet.
