LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee has arrested a 33-year-old Amish man for possession of marijuana after authorities said they found a large amount of the drug at the man’s home.
On November 1, Lawrence County TN Sheriff’s Deputies said that a search warrant was executed at the home of Chris Appleby, located on Densen Road in the northern area of Lawrence County.
During their search, deputies reportedly found around 25 pounds of suspected marijuana, located in two separate buildings on the property.
Several guns and cash were also found on the property.

Shouldn’t we substitute “Amish” with “black” when it’s a real Amish?
Rumshpringa!
Amish chicks are hotter than catholic chicks
Appleby is NOT an Amish name.
Sounds like an Englisher posing as Amish for cover.
If he grew it himself, I’ll bet it’s really good.
I was never under the mistaken impression that the “religious” Amish were ethical and law abiding after I found out how they run their animals into the ground and then sell them at auction to enter the slaughter pipeline. And that they are big operators of puppy and kitten mills. So this does not surprise me.
It was a sure tip-off when he failed to show up at the barn-raising.
He was a really good boy… a very good boy.
Agreed. Amish and Menonite girls are freaky awesome. They get right to business and put in a lot of hard sweat unmasked by perfume. I grew up in an Amish County in Pennsylvania. I learned early on not to kiss and tell.
Wonder if he had an electronic scale?
The one from Witness was sure hot!
Amish Weed….Guaranteed to be organically grown.
He was turning his life around, and had a rap record coming out.
Let me take a run at this one...
“During their search, deputies reportedly found around 25 pounds of suspected marijuana, located in two separate buildings on the property.”
They were contracted to grow for a licensed grower.
“Several guns”
Not illegal
“and cash”
Not illegal
However, their buggy wheels were out of DOT spec, so bad on them.
Sue for false arrest.
If the Amish are going into weed, we have problems.
Hardly ever see a fat one. Always well toned.
Their image is just that; an image that fools those that watch too much TV.
