Terry was an awful candidate, but regardless of how bad he was you can bet that a lot of congressional democrats in moderate districts are looking for the lifeboats on the SS Pelosi/Schumer today.
Hard to imagine a night that could have been worse for Biden/Pelosi/Schumer than this one and the fact that NJ is still in play is a bonus.
Wonder how many more House Dems will be ‘retiring’ after that shellacking last night in VA? About a dozen have already called it quits. They know what’s coming in ‘22.
