Aaron Rodgers won't be on the field when the Green Bay Packers take on the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. The reigning league MVP has tested positive for COVID-19, per CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora, shortly after practice squad quarterback Kurt Benkert was also placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list with a positive test. That leaves Jordan Love as the only other quarterback on the Packers roster and guarantees he'll get the start against Patrick Mahomes and Co. in Week 9.

These COVID protocols and mandates are out of control! The majority of positive COVID tests are FALSE positives.
If I was Rodgers, I'd threaten to retire or file suit against the NFL.

No, they are not all vaccinated in the NFL. There are high-profile players that are not— including several from my favorite team. Take a look at those who are wearing masks on the sidelines will give you a good idea who isn’t. It’s kind of ridiculous that I’m one of 64,000 largely unmasked fans in the building while some players half my age and in elite condition are well away from the masses yet have to wear them when not on the field.

Yes, we need to take actions like these to protect these elite athletes. Because think of all the players that have died and/or been hospitalized with COVID. Which is zero. Jeez. “Insanity” can’t begin to describe this.
