NYT, Political Commentators Mock Middle Class Family Who’s Paying More For Milk Thanks To Inflation

The New York Times and liberal commentators mocked a middle class family that spends high sums of money on milk as a result of inflation via Twitter Thursday.

Larry and Krista Stotler, a married couple from Texas, told CNN correspondent Evan McMorris-Santoro that inflation has burdened their large family when it comes to buying groceries. Krista said the rise of dairy prices has caused her family to purchase twelve gallons of milk for $2.79 per gallon a week, up from $1.99 previously.

She said that they would have paid $150-$200 on groceries back in March in comparison to the approximate $310 they currently spend.

The New York Times mocked the Stotlers for the large sums of milk via Twitter, then later deleted the post.

“Sorry, I can’t do today’s crossword. I’m too busy carrying my 12 gallons of milk home,” the NYTimes Wordplay posted.

It’s no secret anymore that the “elites” want the “little people” to eat bugs while milk, cheese, beef, etc. is left for the “big, important people”. Think this is a joke? Here you go:

No there won’t. People are too fat and happy in the US, and are country is too diverse and divided. If there would have been a violent backlash, it would have occurred in the late 1960s/early 70s.

Preparing for anticipated Venezuela like raging inflation and astronomical food prices, I just bought 50 lbs of Michigan non fat dehydrated milk powder for $130. It’s supposed to make 47 gallons. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised that the milk is very good. Very creamy.

As per online suggestions, I add a few drops of vanilla to one batch and a teaspoon of sugar to a second. Both came out very good. My wife couldn’t tell the difference between the milk powder and real milk.

I had 4 teens at home during the 2010-2015 timeframe; they could each drink a almost gallon of milk a day and often did!

Because to the NYTimes, 50% to 100% inflation on food is amusing.

Obviously, the new aristocracy is developing and taking charge.
Marie Antoinette lost here head when she told people, who could not afford bread, to eat the cake!
Our modern day media seems to be the new Marie Antoinette.
Rich, separated from the reality, and making fun of the people.

When I was a kid, we had a big family, and the milk-man would bring a whole milk crate from his truck. He would shout “milk delivery,” walk straight into the house without knocking, go into the kitchen, and put it in the refrigerator.

Often we kids would be eating breakfast. We would say “Hi Mr. Riley!” and he would greet us, comment on the weather, and be on his way.

We didn’t find the whole thing strange at all.
